Our specialised Upskilling program for past students who attained their QQI Level 4 Static or Guarding Skills award and now want to attain their QQI Level 4 Door Security Procedures Award.

Description

The ICSE Online Upskilling Door Security Procedures Training Course (QQI 4N1118) has been developed by ICSE. This program, completed fully online, provides a learner with the QQI Level 4 Door Security Procedures Award allowing them to apply for a Door Security Licence from the Private Security Authority (PSA).

ICSE is the largest and most experienced provider of security training in Ireland and over 18,000 people have qualified by taking our award-winning training programmes. This online delivery of the Door Security Procedures course is the latest in our evolution to further enhance the quality of training for the sector.

Due to the very high quality of our courses, our Door Security Procedures graduates quickly find employment and work as security operatives at large indoor and outdoor sporting and music events (Particularly specialist areas like pit crews, search teams and back stage), hotels, night clubs, bars and venues where alcohol is sold for consumption on the premises.

The online courses use Zoom to provide a virtual classroom where learners can interact with each other and the tutor throughout the direct training provision.

The whole upskilling program is delivered through eLearning modules that learners complete in advance of attending a live session on Zoom. The zoom session is 4 hours long running from 1.00pm to 5pm. The assessment takes place at the end of the live session.

This programme is delivered through a blended learning approach with direct contact between trainer and student. The course duration allows the participants the correct amount of time to complete the required self-directed aspect of the programme.

Participants are also required to have completed the QQI Level 4 Static Guarding Course with ICSE within the past 12 months.

Learners complete a eLearning element of the course which covers the more theoretical aspects of the programme. The more practical aspects and skills learning are developed during the online session.
